Dr. Michelle Mix is an interventional cardiologist specializing in Women’s Heart Disease.
A native of Chicago, IL, she completed her undergraduate training at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Dr. Mix received her doctorate at the Chicago campus of the University of Illinois, where she also obtained a Master’s degree in Bioengineering and an MBA degree.
Her post-graduate training included an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Southern California, and both a cardiovascular medicine and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Banner University Medical center.
Dr. Mix is board certified in internal medicine and general cardiology. She specializes in coronary and peripheral vascular intervention via both the radial and femoral approaches.
Dr. Mix’s current research is evaluating the lesion characteristics of women with coronary disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention.
